My BirthMONTH

I celebrated my birthmonth with all the people i consider dear to me and I guess those who considered me a dear to them also for they made time for me. Too bad Cibo with my complete HS barkada did not push through but I will make up for them in Bora. I'll treat them there instead. I won't expound much because words cannot describe how much fun I had on my 24th bday celebrations! Good thing I divided the celebrations into many small ones rather than one big one. I had one big celebration last year but I wasn't able to spend as much time with everyone as I wanted to. I wasn't able to eat at all. This year was different. I heard all the latest chismis and stories. And best of all, I got to eat at different yummy restos! Here are pictures!

If you've read the previous posts, you'll see my birthday wishlist and I'm happy to say that I've got all except for the Adidas Ateneo shirt or jacket! Good haul this year! I guess my family and friends really know me and took the time and effort to figure out what I wanted.


1. I'd like to thank my mom for my Topshop shades and 2 havaianas flipflops!
2. I'd like to thank my best friend, Melbs, for my Zara "You'll be Mine" shirt!
3. I'd like to thank my STUV (Maan, Lara and Dada) for my Starbucks tumbler!
4. I'd like to thank my Music, Kris, for my very cute Eeyore stuffed toy!

Lastly, I'd like to thank everyone who remembered my bday. Thanks for the text messages, the YM messages, the Friendster greetings, the Facebook gifts and the Multiply comments! all day long, only one song has been playing over and over and this is it.



i love this movie so much. i felt like a child once more. there was comedy, there was fantasy, there was romance! the perfect fairytale! kris was telling me, coz she went to watch the movie with me, that i was smiling a lot throughout the movie, especially during those cheesy moments! hahaha! i'd gladly repeat this over and over and over. it was really worth it. i'm recommending this movie. robert de niro was the best! promise! see it now! need company? i'll be glad to watch it with you! haha! i really just can't stop raving about it! love love!

love love to my mom as well. i know where i got my shopping addiction, definitely from her set of chromosomes! hahaha! well love love to her coz she went with her friends to subic today and bought me 2 pairs of havaianas! yey! good thing she knew what colors i already have and bought me what i didn't have yet! new slippers for my upcoming bora trip! yey! =)

daddy dearest

hahaha! my dad is so cute talaga. i had this funny conversation with him this morning..

dad: neng, ang sakit ng paa ko. tignan mo.
me: naks! bagong sandals. ahhh, nike na ang binili mo?
dad: oo, wala akong mahanap na size ko sa birkenJOCKS eh.
me: haha! dad, wala ka talagang makikitang size dun, wala namang birkenjocks eh. baka birkenstocks!
dad: ahh oo yun yun!

hahahahah! shucks! benta talaga ang tatay ko... =)

xs: i need change. badly. life has become a routine. i'm sawa na. pierce or tattoo? magugulat na lang ang mga tao!

where is the moment we needed the most

yesterday was considered a low one for me. everything went wrong. i was literally an epitome of daniel powter's song. it indeed was a bad day.

it was such a turnaround from thursday because thursday was really fun. i did a lot of happy things last thursday but i'm thinking my bad day stemmed from too much merry-making.

i wasn't able to get much sleep last thursday night. i'm thinking it must be from eating too much that my stomach was not able to digest it properly. so i went to work the following day with a little more than 2 hours of sleep. so there i was a bit cranky and very sleepy, staring into my monitor. i was being extra sensitive to everything. if someone said something to me when i was expecting another, i was already in tampo mode. i wasn't able to help myself because by around lunchtime, i just put my head on my hands, trying to get some sleep... lunch was a little better although i wasn't in the mood still. since it was friday, we ate out. people noticed that i didn't even have an appetite because lo and behold, i didn't finish my food...

we got back to the office and things did not improve much, it even got worse. so there i was trying to entertain myself by talking with kris and cha.. they did help though but i was still very very sleepy. good thing cha showed me a very FUNNY picture. as kris would describe it, "going for the brooding look..." thinking about it now puts a smile on my face..

around 230pm, we were already discussing PM break and how we would go down and chat but then something urgent came up. my TL told me that there was a discrepancy in the data i finished processing the day before. i was really irked, not because of the discrepancy but of the timing. i finished the execution for that program around lunch of the day before (thursday) and had told this girl that she could validate it already. but she did not. maybe she was so busy talking on the phone or going on yosi breaks, i don't know. what i know is that she did not do it when she was supposed to. she did the validations on friday na. that's when she got the discrepancy results.

the problem lies on a deadline. the data is needed by Marketing and if the missing records were not found, i would have to go on OT! i was really pissed because of her. she should have done the validations asap so that the discrepancy would have been discovered earlier! i didn't go on pm break trying to find out where the missing records were. grrr talaga! buti nalang nagawan ko ng paraan at natapos on time! and the data was given to Marketing before 5pm! namumuro na talaga yang babaeng yan ha...

i went home feeling really low. i really didn't have much energy. imagine i was asleep around 9pm on a friday night! haha!

now i'm feeling much better... just waiting for my HS friends to arrive for a chikahan session! i learned something though, seeing my college friends and HS friends in one week can overwrite that one bad day. =)

license renewal

I cannot believe 3 years have passed since I last had my license renewed. Time sure does fly by.. I'm turning 24 on Saturday! Ack! A year to go til my quarter life, i sure hope that I won't have that quarter life crisis though.

Anyway, having my license renewed took up and hour and a half lang. Ang bilis na! 3 years ago I had to line up early tapos by the time I have my picture taken, I looked beat and stressed. This year's license pic looks great! Ang arte ng posing ko! Hahahah!

Comparatively, this year's LTO location was better. It is inside a Mall, thus making it more convenient and comfortable! It's not much of a hassle anymore..

There were 2 questions in the application form that made me struggle a little. I guess my self esteem had gone down a notch (hmmm sino kaya may kasalanan? hahahahah!). One question was regarding built, was I 1. Light 2. Medium 3. Heavy? I was really considering Medium but my dad insisted I was still Light! Hahaha! That was funny! And of course the other question was regarding complexion, was I 1. Light 2. Fair 3. Dark? And again my dad insisted I was fair! Hahahaha! Grabe na ito! Lowest of the low but funny nonetheless!

One complaint I do have though is the mataray doctor! She was shouting at those men, pinapahiya sa harap namin! Sinasabi niya na dapat daw nakikinig sa instructions! She should realize that she's dealing with different kinds of people and they are considered clients, therefore, she should level with them! (Sir Renan and Debbie will be proud that something from qs1 did stick! =P) Yun lang naman lagi kong complain eh that if their jobs require them to be with people everyday, they should be friendly and patient noh! haay baka lumabas pa complaints ko regarding salesladies! Hahaha!

All in all, hassle-free na kumuha ng license! Yey! Hopefully, by 2010, 10 minutes nalang :p

break!

Ahhh. The smell of THE good life! Hehe! Man, I can't wait for the events of the coming months. I've got nothing on my calendar but beach trips! Yey! I'm going to Amanpulo with my parents tomorrow, Oct 5 til the 7th! One of my most expensive bday gifts so far! Haha! There are 16 of us all in all because we're going there with family friends. Technically, they are friends of my parents so I call them "Family friends"! I can't wait..

Then on Nov 1 - 4 will be four days of fun in the sun at Bora with my Highschool barkada. It's sad though that Tina isn't coming with us. It'll be just Me, Dortz, Ria and Elga going there. We'll be staying at Hannah Hotel courtesy of our dear friend Hannah Morillo, who gave us great discounts! We love you dear! She also promised us food since she's opening her new resto there! I think her barkada, Jaylyn and Orange are coming too and they are good friends of ours as well so it would really be fun!

A surfing trip to Zambales is still being planned. All I know is I won't have to spend much coz my friend is paying for me.. The plans aren't final though and I'd be terribly sad if it doesn't push through! Ayoko ng paasa!

So I'd be really really dark and tanned by November! Hahaha! Oh well, just goes to show how much of a beach addict I am.

Oh and my birthday is coming up and I haven't really thought of a wishlist! But I do have some ideas in mind like an Eeyore stuffed toy (so cute!), a Starbucks tumbler (coz my old pink one leaks already!), an Adidas Ateneo Shirt or jacket (coz I saw a couple a few weeks ago and fell in love with them), a Jackie O shades, Havaianas, and a Zara shopping spree! Hahaha! Any of the above will be GREATLY appreciated! Haha!

Anyway, off to dream land and vacation land... Wheeee! =)
