Happy New Year post

It's the start of another year and normally, people would be setting new goals for themselves. Things they want to achieve this year. Things they want to change in themselves. In short, the new year ushers a chance for people to achieve what they were not able to do so the previous year.

I've never believed in New Year's resolutions coz I for one, can't last a week without breaking them. Hehehe! And the lesson I've learned from even attempting to do my resolutions is this: IT'S EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

Anyway, this year did start out with a bang. But it's not the kind of bang that I welcomed. Hahahaha! Work has never been as stressful as these past two weeks. Super dami ng work! My dermatologist was complaining this afternoon. She told me that she hasn't seen my face as pimple-ridden as it is now. And I agree! Sometimes, I end up staring at my face in front of my mirror wondering what the heck happened to it. And because of this, I have to come back for a follow-up next week. This never happened to me before. I'd normally go back to my derma every quarter or so but now i have to come back in a week. What a way to start the year, huh?

Because of this, I've decided I needed a break. I want to go to the beach or anywhere away from the city for at least a weekend. If only I can find the perfect destination with the perfect company to go with it. PAGING my friends!!! Hahahahah! Let's go out of town, anyone?

Before I forget, H A P P Y N E W Y E A R everyone! And although I don't believe in resolutions, I do believe in wishes. So I hope that we all get our wishes fulfilled this year. Isa lang naman ang akin eh. Whatever that is, well, you'll all find out once it gets fulfilled. =)
