i finally met HIM

i have watched him from afar all these years. i can still remember how i anticipated the Sundays that i would finally get to see him again. i always end up mesmerized by his looks and his voice, his oh-so deep voice. time came when i thought i wouldn't see him ever again. but then what used to be weekly meetings became weeknights. my world stopped whenever the time came that i'll see him again. no one and i mean no one can disturb me, whenever he's on. i didn't care if i still had pending school work to finish. accounting exams were forgotten whenever he's on.

who would've thought that my mom and his mom would meet at the gym and become fast friends. they got to know each other and my mom even lent his mom one of her really expensive coats so that she'll have something to wear as she accompanied him to London.

come nov. 12, tita aida, celebrated her birthday with a party at her house. of course, dear mommy was invited. while i was out with a couple of my dearest friends, i got a text from mom telling me HE was there at the party, live in the flesh. i got home just in time for our driver to pick mom up, and so lil ol devious me, tagged along.

when we finally reached the house, and what a big house it was, everyone was looking at me. by then, i lost all sense of self. shyness was spreading all over. i didn't want to go down. mommy dearest came and was almost pulling me out of the car. tita aida also came out and told me to follow her. so we went inside the house where we found HIM seated at the dining table, eating. HE rose and went towards me. by that time, my tongue rolled back to my throat and i can't seem to find a word to say. imagine, ME, not able to talk at all. so i stood there like a geek, with my smile almost reaching the sky, as my mom took our pic together. at least i was able to muster a word of thanks afterwards. btw he had his arm at the small of my back! hahaha! *kilig*
