change of plans
a couple of entries back, i wrote about going to canada with my parents for my cousin's wedding. some disappointing turn of events changed the plans. now, i'm off to canada alone! breathe in breathe out. ok i'm feeling a mixture of anxiety and excitement as this would be my first time ever to travel alone. but, as my friends tell me, it would be an adventure! and it might be the final key for me to be really independent, so why not. and thank god for dear mother, who may not be with me in presence during the trip, but would be with me through the "allowance" she's giving me that i could spend while there! yey!
as for my dear mother, hahahah! i'm jealous! apparently, she got "depressed" with the fact that she got denied a visa in any country, despite her travel history. and so to "appease" her, my dad allowed her to travel to the only continent she hasn't been to yet, except for antarctica that is, south america! i'm so jealous! her trip is worth thrice of mine! and twice as long! the duration of my whole trip will be from june 30 til july 14 while hers would be from july 12 til august 10! imagine that we won't see each other for quite some time! she's going to peru, brazil, argentina, ecuador and colombia (not sure of the last 2 countries but she said she's going to 5)
as for my poor dad, hahahah! he'll go home to batangas or quezon! he'd rather stay and rest in the province than be anywhere else. i asked him why he's not coming with mom and he told me he's too old to travel for a long time, a week or two is fine but a month?! that would be very hard on his health. so he requested a US trip with mom come september for his bday, and again i'm jealous!
sayang, it would be more fun to travel with those two pa naman! and a really funny thing my mom told me, "sabihin mo sa tito mo, pinapayagan ka namin magstay out late ha! wala kang curfew! kasi baka maging strict sayo knowing na wala kami" isn't she a darling? how i love them both!
see how we color-coordinate our clothes? hahaha! this i'll surely miss! =)

haha!! kaya yan, peper!! travelling alone is really an experience of a lifetime. though i promised myself i'd never do it again (kahit kasama ko sis ko that time). muntik na kami ma-deport. hehe
